Are you a skilled optometrist looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity? We invite you to join this ophthalmology team based in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda, FL, offering a compensation rate of $700 per diem.

Schedule:

• Monday: Fort Myers
• Wednesday: Punta Gorda
• Friday: Fort Myers

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough examinations and provide postoperative care for patients, primarily focusing on cataract surgery recoveries, as well as lid surgeries and pseudophakic evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage eye diseases and vision disorders.
• Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in optometry practices.

Requirements:

• A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Comfortable seeing postoperative patients, primarily cataract postops, but also lid postops and pseudophakic exams.
