About the Role
This is a wonderful opportunity for an optometrist to join an established practice and continue our legacy of delivering uncompromising local eyecare. You’ll be managing end-to-end eyecare across a wide patient base, in a practice known for its clinical independence, longstanding community trust, and close ties with local GPs and ophthalmologists.
About the Practice
• Centrally located in the heart of Mudgee’s shopping precinct
• Equipped with advanced diagnostic technology including OCT, Optos widefield imaging, visual fields, and corneal topography
• 30-minute appointments as standard
• A friendly and supportive dispensing team who understands your clinical flow
• Genuine autonomy backed by a national network
• A multigenerational patient base who value continuity and care
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an optometrist who bring:
• A broad, confident clinical skillset and a desire to keep learning
• At least 2 years’ post-grad experience
• The ability to tailor care across a wide patient demographic, from young to young-at-heart
• Clear, patient-first communication
• A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership
• Comfort in practicing independently while contributing to a broader team
You’ll be backed by a professional, experienced dispensing team and supported by G&M’s national frameworks, including Professional Services, CPD, and peer collaboration.
