This is a role for an optometrist who enjoys practicing with intention, building long-term patient relationships and taking pride in their clinical decisions.
The role
You will practice full-scope optometry in a busy regional practice with an established patient base. The environment supports thoughtful clinical care, clear patient communication and long-term management, backed by technology that enables confident diagnosis and decision-making.
The practice is equipped with:
• iCare tonometry
• Topcon Maestro OCT
• Medmont M700 visual fields
• Nidek autorefractor
• Corneal topography
• Axial biometry
Who we’re looking for
We are seeking an optometrist with 2+ years’ experience who demonstrates:
• A strong clinical foundation across refraction and ocular disease
• A patient-first mindset, paired with an understanding that excellent care and a sustainable business go hand in hand
• Clear, practical communication that builds patient trust and supports informed clinical decisions
• An interest in becoming part of the fabric of a regional community
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and contemporary clinical practice
