Job Description

An established and busy practice in Dyce is looking to welcome an Optometrist to its clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a well-supported environment with a varied and engaging clinical workload, modern equipment, and a strong focus on patient care.

The practice operates Monday to Sunday and typically runs double testing one to three times per week, offering a good balance of teamwork and clinical exposure.

About the practice and role:

• Opportunities for full-time or part-time roles
• Busy branch with 7–9 clinics per week
• Regular double testing, typically 1–3 times per week
• One dedicated audiology clinic per week
• One dedicated CLO clinic per week
• Wide variety of appointments including routine eye tests, OCT-enhanced exams, emergency appointments, myopia management, and contact lens clinics
• Approximately 12 appointments per clinic, aiming for 9 primary eye examinations
• Generous testing times of 30–40 minutes for sight tests and 20 minutes for contact lens checks
• Two fully equipped test rooms plus a dedicated clinical and pre-testing room
• Clinical equipment includes a Topcon 3D OCT-1 and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyser

You will be supported by a strong in-branch team of five front-of-house colleagues, including a Contact Lens Specialist, Customer Care Assistants, and a full-time Branch Manager, ensuring a smooth and well-organised clinic.
