Whatyou'lldo:
As an Associate Optometrist,you'llprovide comprehensive eye exams and medical office visits while exercising professional clinical judgment within the scope of state law.You'llwork with advanced diagnostic technology, including the OculusKeratograph5M, Zeiss andOptovueOCT,Eidonwide-angle camera with autofluorescence,EyeResanterior segment camera,TearLab,RetEvalERG, virtual visual fields, and low-levelred lighttherapy. The role offers a full-time, 40-hour schedule with a template of 20 appointments per day, including 13 comprehensive exams and seven office visits.
Who you are:
The ideal candidate holds a Doctor of Optometry degree, is licensed to practice in South Carolina, and can provide three professional references.You bringstrong clinical judgment, the ability to listen closely to patients, and theexpertiseto prescribe spectacles and contact lenses foroptimalvision outcomes while ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing for medical optometry. Success in this role also requires a collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, a commitment to continuous learning, and a genuine passion for delivering personalized care and advancing the practice’s reputation in the community.
