We’re looking for a full-time Optometrist (37.5 hours) to join our Colchester store, located in the centre of town within a Boots UK store with Hearing Care.
This is a busy practice with high levels of footfall and a mixed patient demographic.
The store has 4 testing rooms with 25-minute testing times and is supported by a team of 10, including 1 resident Optometrist, 2 Dispensing Opticians and 1 Contact Lens Optician.
The practice provides a wide range of enhanced clinical services, including MECS, cataract referrals and post-op care.
You will work 5 days per week (days can be discussed) with weekend working required. Store opening hours are Monday–Saturday 9:00–17:30 and Sunday 10:00–16:00.
There are development opportunities, including the potential for Pre-Registration supervision in the future and involvement in local enhanced services.
The store is easily accessible by car or train, with car parks within walking distance of the store.
