Optometrist Opportunity – Independent, Clinical Focus

We’re working with a high-end, independently owned optical group that’s built a strong reputation around clinical excellence, advanced technology, and a genuinely patient-first approach

The Opportunity

You’ll be joining a well-established practice with deep community roots, delivering comprehensive, full-scope optometry in a setting that blends clinical precision with a premium retail experience

• 30–45 minute testing times
• True patient-led consultations (not KPI-led)
• Opportunity to develop clinical interests
• Supportive, experienced team environment

The role offers a balance of:

• Clinical care
• Patient education
• Commercial awareness (done properly, not pushed)

The Practice

This is a modern, design-led environment with a strong focus on both clinical outcomes and patient experience

You’ll have access to:

• Advanced diagnostic technology including OCT and high-precision scanning systems
• A wide scope of care, including dry eye and ocular health management
• A premium eyewear offering with carefully curated collections

The business has built its reputation on:

• Long-standing community relationships (30+ years in some locations)
• High clinical standards
• A warm, consultative patient journey

The Role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering advanced eye examinations
• Diagnosing and managing a range of ocular conditions
• Prescribing and advising on appropriate solutions
• Supporting patients through their full eye care journey

There’s also scope to get involved in:

• Pre and post-operative care
• Specialist services (depending on your interests)

About You

You’re not just looking for “another test room”.

You’ll likely be:

• GOC registered
• Clinically confident and patient-focused
• Commercially aware, but not commercially driven
• Interested in delivering a higher standard of care

Additional accreditations (IP, Medical Retina, Glaucoma) are welcomed but not essential.
