Optometrist
Are you a Florida-licensed optometrist looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity? LC Eyecare in Port Charlotte, Florida, is seeking a dedicated optometrist to join our team one day per week in a per diem capacity. We’re looking for a professional with strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a desire to deliver exceptional patient care. This position is ideal for both experienced ODs and recent graduates who value a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Please note, benefits are not offered for this per diem role.

What You'll Do:
At LC Eyecare, communication is at the heart of our patient care. You’ll take the time to listen carefully and address each patient’s concerns; many of whom are seeking second opinions or need help troubleshooting their glasses or contact lenses. You’ll conduct thorough exams using advanced equipment including the Maestro 2 Topcon Digital Imaging, NCT, Revolution EHR, and Topcon Auto refractor. Patients are scheduled every 15 minutes, allowing you to provide focused, individualized care while maintaining a steady patient flow. Your clinical expertise and clear communication will play a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
