FYidoctors Nanaimo has a fantastic opportunity for an Optometrist to join our clinic. We have a couple of experienced OD's cutting back in 2025 which has created patient volume and space for an OD to cover Monday through Friday (5 days per week). We have flexibility for the incoming OD and can accommodate a 2 or 3 day per week schedule if desired. Our clinic in Nanaimo is part of a group of clinics which includes practices in Ladysmith and Parksville. The team across these 3 clinics shares support staff and there is opportunity for a schedule split across the group if desired.
The OD team in Nanaimo is made up of 4 OD's working through 4 exam lanes. Our doctors practice full scope Optometry and the clinic in Nanaimo serves a diverse patient base with elderly patients and young families attending the clinic. The OD's are well supported by a talented and experienced pretesting and dispensing team providing an excellent patient experience for our clinic. Our OD's in Nanaimo currently book on a 25 minute exam schedule, however we can be flexible for a new OD joining and accommodate their preferred scheduling.
