Highland Homes is currently accepting resumes for an Options Pricing Specialist. This role will assist the design center consultants, construction and sales staff with analyzing features and options. The Options Pricing Specialist is also c oordinate and monitor pricing and provide overall program assistance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Issue upgrade option pricing (OPQ requests) to customers that are timely and accurate.
  • Obtain and coordinate option program upgrades, updates and continual maintenance of product pricing changes.
  • Coordinate and communicate changes and updates to customers.
  • Oversee the accuracy in community standards and plan square footages (in Brix) in order to issue accurate pricing to customers.
  • Resolve unique buyer requests.
  • Maintain design center pricing for all upgrade plan options and option catalog items.
  • Assist Design Center consultants in identifying opportunities for continual improvement.
  • Offer suggestions for market driven features and options to be offered to customers.
  • Coordinate and maintain buyer options database.
  • Assist in tracking the frequency of pricing request.
  • Assist managers in analyzing custom buyer options requests.
  • Maintain OPQ log.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Bachelor degree preferred with concentration in Construction Management, Business or other related field.
  • 4 years of construction, design center or purchasing experience preferred with a homebuilding company.
  • High level of accurate and timely start budgets and extra purchase orders.
  • Mastery in large scale specials and full customs as it pertains to cost establishment.
  • Clear understanding of the expediting and cost establishment process as it relates to starts.
  • Able to analyze changes in cost from month to month by tracking takeoff revisions, price changes, and labor budget changes.
  • Prior customer service and/or order entry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Excellent communicator (oral and written) including the desire to ask questions and learn from others.
  • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Brix software preferred.
