Optimizely Frontend
We are looking for a skilled front end developer to join our team and contribute to the development of software using the React framework and Optimizely CMS
As an Optimizely CMS Frontend Developer at Greif you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the front end components of our website You will work closely with our design and development teams to ensure that the website not only looks fantastic but also performs optimally across various platforms and devices Your role will be essential in crafting engaging online experiences for our customers
Responsibilities
Collaborate with designers backend developers and stakeholders to implement responsive and visually appealing web designs using Optimizely CMS
Translate design mockups and wireframes into efficient and interactive web pages
Optimize website performance for fast loading and smooth user experiences
Ensure cross browser and cross device compatibility and resolve any compatibility issues
Integrate third party services APIs and plugins as needed to enhance website functionality
Assist with content management and ensure content is displayed correctly and consistently
Maintain and update websites to keep them current secure and in line with the latest industry standards
Troubleshoot and resolve frontend related issues and bugs
Stay up to date with the latest web development trends and Optimizely CMS updates to recommend and implement improvements
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Web Development or a related field or equivalent experience
Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and front end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
Experience with responsive web design and mobile first development
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Excellent problem solving skills and a keen attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a frontend developer with a focus on Optimizely CMS
Experience with the React framework
Optimizely CMS Developer certification
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques including image optimization and lazy loading
Understanding of website security best practices
