  • Develop and maintain cloud native solutions leveraging Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure Storage/Blob, and Azure Service Bus messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical designs, and deliver production ready solutions.
  • Troubleshoot software issues to identify root causes, propose and implement fixes, and drive preventative improvements. Create and maintain clear technical documentation to support reliable development, deployment, and user support.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand and address business needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and practices.
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and developer experience through tooling, automation, and iterative refinements.
  • Stay current with advancements in cloud native development and modern engineering workflows.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional backend software engineering experience with Python.

  • Experience owning the full software lifecycle for production software (design, implement, deploy, maintain, and deprecate).

  • Experience building and operating solutions on major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Git proficiency including pull requests, branching strategies, conflict resolution, and tagging/releases.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline development and maintenance.

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Strong level of English and solid communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience improving observability and operability (structured logging, metrics/monitoring, deployment validation/rollback practices).
  • Familiarity with agentic coding tools and demonstrated judgment in using them safely and effectively.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry or a related field.
  • Understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
