We’re excited to fill an existing position, join our team at Factory Optical - Saskatoon - Lawson Heights Mall- partners of solis optics, as an Optical Associate!

This position is a full-time position working up to 30-40 hours per week. We’re open Monday to Saturday.

In this role you’ll deliver exceptional service, enhance the lives of our customers, in a supportive, dynamic, and rewarding environment.

What Will You Be Doing? 

• Welcoming customers, efficiently managing customer check-in and check-out
• Engaging with customers in person, by phone, and through email
• Educating and guiding clients in selecting eyewear that fits their lifestyle, while delivering exceptional value and quality
• Interpreting optical prescriptions as prescribed by an optometrist
• Performing frame and facial measurements to ensure correct fit and positioning of new eyewear
• Coordinating appointment bookings, preparing prescription printouts, and processing billing and payments
• Providing exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience
• Coordinating appointment bookings, preparing prescription printouts, and processing billing and payments
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as required to support store operations

 What Do You Bring?

• A minimum of one year experience in a customer service-focused retail environment
• Experience in an optical environment is considered an asset
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent communicator dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
