Our store

Specsavers Shrewsbury is a busy and customer-focused store dedicated to providing outstanding optical and audiology services to the local community. The store combines a welcoming, team-oriented environment with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer care, ensuring every customer receives expert advice and a personalised experience. Conveniently located in the heart of Shrewsbury town centre, the store benefits from excellent public transport links, with Shrewsbury railway station within walking distance and regular local bus services operating throughout the town and surrounding areas. This makes the store easily accessible for those commuting from across Shropshire. Our team  

At Specsavers Shrewsbury, you'll be joining a friendly, supportive, and highly experienced team that is passionate about delivering exceptional customer care. The store brings together colleagues from a variety of roles, including optical assistants, dispensing opticians, audiology professionals, and management, all working collaboratively to create a positive experience for every customer. The team fosters an inclusive and welcoming culture where colleagues are encouraged to share ideas, support one another, and celebrate successes together. With a strong focus on development and continuous learning, team members receive ongoing training and coaching to help them build their skills, progress their careers, and reach their full potential in a fast-paced and rewarding retail healthcare environment

What we’re looking for?

Some of the responsibilities of this role include:

• Welcoming customers into store
• Booking in eye tests
• Pre-screening patients
• Providing style advice
• Measuring frames
• Taking phone call

Previous experience working in an optical setting is required for this role
