About the Role

If you're a people person with a passion for delivering brilliant customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

As an Optical Assistant, you'll play an important part in making every patient feel welcome, supported and confident in their eyecare choices.

What you'll be doing:

• Welcoming patients and creating a fantastic first impression
• Helping patients choose frames and lenses to suit their needs and style
• Supporting appointments and the smooth running of the practice
• Developing your knowledge of eyewear, eye health and specialist optical services
• Building genuine relationships with patients in the local community

Who we're looking for:

You don't need to have worked in optics before! We're looking for someone friendly, enthusiastic and eager to learn. Experience in optics would be an advantage, but a strong background in customer service, retail or hospitality could be just as valuable. You'll have the support of an experienced team who love sharing their knowledge, with opportunities to build your skills and grow your career.

Some Saturday working is required
