About the Role


To lead and assist the QC process for KYC including performing quality control checks, QC data monitoring, reporting, prepare dashboards and other KYC QC associated actvities

What will your day look like?

As a Operations Specialist- KYC QC , you will:

  • Reduction in errors/exceptions tracked by Quality Control
  • Rationalization of QC checks (addition or elimination of checks based on the trend and criticality of the process)
  • Identifies and mitigates potential breaches from occurring
  • Ensure the QC checks are always aligned to the Policy and Procedures and changes to the same
  • Executing the Assurance process with key stakeholders.
  • Improve the Control accuracy under purview through the review/sampling the processes, adherence and procedures in place within the function / business line and form well-balanced opinions/recommendations regarding the quality/risk issues surfaced
  • Ensure seamless completion of BAU activities along with reporting
  • Identifies process improvements to increase efficiencies within the team.
  • Providing quality assurance of other team members
  • Support the establishment of best practice across the group
  • Support management and the wider business with AML reviews
  • Serve as a point of contact for the business with regard to AML KYC policy and process related questions
  • Supports remediation and other related projects and lead initiatives wherever required.
  • Track and monitor end to end process and team statistics

What will you bring?


To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • At least 6 + years of relevant expereince in institutional KYC and QC
  • Self-Starter with a keen sense of ownership, concern for quality and standards
  • Sufficient knowledge and understanding of sharepoint designing, data analysis & interpretation, excel and power point skills
  • Keen problem solving skills and ability to plan, organize and drive through results under conflicting priorities and pressure
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and Verbal) and business partnering skills
  • Extensive AML/ KYC Experience and Working knowledge of ANZ compliance and AML/KYC policies
