Core Description

As an Ops Specialist Data Scientist, you will be responsible for data science output in projects, solving a variety of use cases for BCX and its clients. Your core responsibility will involve utilizing emerging Data Science frameworks and tools like SQL, Python, BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc), as well as ML and AI, to support the team in resolving identified challenges.

• Perform data analysis on diverse set of data.
• Build insightful data visualisations.

• Write project and analytics documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Computer Science or Actuarial Science

OR NQF 4: Grade 12

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Statistics or Engineering

Experience

3 years relevant experience of which at least 1 year must have been in a data science environment including: programming language such as R, SQL, Python; visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau or MicroStrategy

Or

5 years relevant experience of which at least 1 year must have been in a data science environment including: programming language such as R, SQL, Python; visualization software such as PowerBI, Tableau or MicroStrategy

Certifications
