MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment.
  • Experience creating documents, maintaining files, and keeping records.
  • Experience in human resources and/or working with confidential employee information and/or data.
  • This position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and provides professional administrative support, to human resources, medical records, and other administrative offices within the state veteran nursing home.
  • Communicate with others to obtain and verify information.
  • Follow written and verbal directions and instructions.
  • Maintain a positive approach and strong work ethic.
  • Problem solving and effective decision making.
  • Work independently, exercise judgment with self-discipline, and take appropriate initiative.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

This position is in the Other Personnel Services (OPS) system.
