Hourly Rate: $15.54

Shift: Weekdays 8am-4:30pm

Paid Bi-Weekly

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English; writing, speaking, reading & understanding.
  • Must have basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process, to include but not limited to, a Level II Background check and drug screen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year clerical experience (college education/vocational training can substitute for required training).

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS AND EXPECTATIONS:

  • The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Nursing Home Administrator and will provide professional administrative support, specific to human resource functions within a state veteran nursing home.
  • Assists the Personnel Tech III with administrative and clerical functions;
    • Creating documents
    • Maintaining files
    • Placing and receiving phone calls from applicants
  • Works independently, exercises judgment with self-discipline, and takes appropriate action.
  • Will communicate with others to obtain and verify information.
  • Perform administrative support duties to include but not limited to scheduling interviews for human resource staff, and management staff.
  • Provide relief for other clerical staff within the home.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

This position is in the Other Personal Services (Temporary) system.
