Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Three (3) years’ experience working in an administrative or purchasing field. An associate’s degree and one (1) year experience can substitute for the required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates with the following qualifications: One (1) or more years working in MyFloridaMarketPlace / Ariba on Demand or PCard (state purchase card) WORKS.
Requirements:
Employment in this position is contingent upon a satisfactory Level 1 and Level 2 background fingerprint check at no cost to the candidate, prior to hire.
Office hours are from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday. Not eligible for Telework.

and Responsibilities:
This is a 40-hour per week, highly specialized position responsible for the procurement of commodities and services. Duties include but are not limited to:
Ensures the timely and ethical purchase of commodities and services in accordance with federal, state and agency laws, rules and policies with special regard to Chapter 112, 287.017 and 255 Florida Statutes.
Enter applicable PCard transactions into PCard WORKS.
Serves as the subject matter expert providing up-to-date information to customers, vendors and the public.
Accurately and efficiently maintains procurement records and filing systems.
Monitors and ensures payment for services and commodities.
Utilizes MyFloridaMarketPlace / Ariba on Demand to generate, review, approved and audit purchase orders.
Provide procurement training to staff.
Assist staff with purchasing systems (i.e., PCard WORKS, MyFloridaMarketPlace / Ariba on Demand and others), rules, policies, and procedures.
Track and assist with competitive solicitations.
This position works in a confidential capacity to assist and support the Business Manager.
Function as a Superbuyer for FWRI.
Assist in auditing PCard transactions for accuracy and compliance with rules, policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the basic principles of procurement.
Skill in performing basic mathematical calculation, oral and written communications, use of a personal computer and spreadsheet and word processing software and demonstrated excellent customer service.
Ability to understand and solve complex problems, interpret and follow complex rules, policies and procedures; show initiative, follow-through and work accurately with detailed information, establish and maintain effective professional relationships; enter, gather and summarize and prepare written reports.
