Eaton’s EPG CPD ICD Industrial Controls Division division is currently seeking a Ops Material Manager.
The Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials & scheduling processes required inside an Eaton factory in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.

This role is responsible for the following core processes:
-Responsible for managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant’s operations by deploying lean material flow.
-Responsible for the administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards.
-Responsible for generating short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network
-Responsible for monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network ( schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan)
-Responsible for escalation of of material availability to the COE and Network teams
-Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan
-Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.
-Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments ( MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping
-Responsible for maintaining target inventory levels and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network
-Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling
-This role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan
