Mission

Lead and coordinate the end-to-end management of Vueling’s fleet lifecycle, including aircraft entries into service, redeliveries, modifications, long-term groundings and ACMI operations, ensuring safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective fleet deployment aligned with the company’s capacity plan.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Manage aircraft entries into service, redeliveries, modifications, retrofits, product changes and ACMI operations across the fleet.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects involving Operations, Maintenance, Flight Operations, OCC, Safety, Compliance, Commercial and Finance teams.
• Lead planning, governance, risk management and stakeholder alignment for major fleet initiatives.
• Ensure operational, regulatory, commercial and financial readiness of fleet events and external capacity solutions.
• Monitor risks, dependencies and performance, providing reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Support the development of fleet planning, optimization and decision-support tools.

Academic Background

• Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
• Additional training in Project Management, Airline Operations, Fleet Management, Data Analysis or Optimization is desirable.

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience within an airline environment in Fleet Planning, Operations Strategy, Aircraft Maintenance, PMO or Project Management.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional projects and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong background in planning, governance, risk management and operational decision-making.
• Ability to balance operational, safety, regulatory, commercial and financial requirements.
• Experience in aircraft entry into service, redeliveries, ACMI operations, fleet transitions or fleet optimization projects is highly valued.

• Excellent communication, influencing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in complex and fast-paced environments.
• Fluent Spanish and English (minimum C1 level).
