Job Description:
The College of Education Building Coordinator is looking to hire an OPS Facilities Assistant to
support building tasks. The Facilities Assistant is a key support staff member for the Building
Coordinator. Tasks include but are not limited to.
- Classroom support (reset, verification of furniture, and lock/unlock doors)
- Help with meeting/event space
- Asset management
- Scanning documents
- Maintain an orderly and clean facility
- Maintain confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Expected Salary:
$15.00 /hour
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrate a desire and willingness to learn in a fast-paced team-oriented
environment
- Establish an exemplary work ethic by being dependable, productive, paying attention to
details and maintaining effective communication
- Ability to dedicate 20-30 hours per week
Preferred:
- Fine attention to detail, professionalism, dependability and effective communication skills
- Ability to work as a team member
- Prior customer service skills are preferred
- Demonstrated communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter; self-motivated; timely
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Excel, & Outlook
