Other Personal Services (OPS) employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used solely for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks.

Reviews and complete the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communications Center incidents within the Office of Prevention Services, responsible for reviewing all CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and update from contract providers, determine if an administrative program review is required.

Reviews provider deficiencies in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management) and make recommendations based on policies and procedures. Assists in resolving deficiencies placed in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management).

Communicates effectively with providers external to the Program, maintaining a positive and collorabative working relationship with the Office of Inspector General.

Provides technical assistance as the Office of Prevention Services liaison between the Department and providers.

Provides technical assistance, training, consultative services and direction for development, implementation, evaluation and expansion of programs of service in public agencies and local governments.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.

Ability to collect evaluate and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.

Ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials.

Ability to conduct fact-finding research.

Ability to utilize problem solving techniques.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to understand and apply applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to operational and management analysis activities.

Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Communicate effectively with customers (providers), maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with co-workers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preference will be given to all candidates who possess the following experience:

Knowledge of the Department Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS).

Knowledge of the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communication Center incidents

When identified on a position description, a valid driver's license is required. If initially hired with an out-of-state license, the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state driver's license within 30 days of hire. Licenses suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/Employment/Education only licenses) and some types of restricted licenses are not acceptable. Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle
