A well-established healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking a qualified and experienced Ophthalmologist to join its growing medical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, diagnose and manage a wide range of eye conditions, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive ophthalmic examinations and clinical assessments.
• Diagnose and manage common and complex eye conditions.
• Perform appropriate ophthalmic procedures based on qualifications and clinical privileges.
• Evaluate patients with acute and chronic eye conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and explain treatment options clearly to patients.
• Prescribe and monitor medications and other appropriate therapies.
• Perform or assist with minor ophthalmic procedures where appropriately credentialed.
• Identify cases requiring surgical intervention and coordinate referrals when necessary.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
• Collaborate with optometrists, nurses, technicians, and other specialists.
• Provide appropriate follow-up and continuity of care.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient-safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and facility policies.
