Consultant Ophthalmologist – Refractive & Cataract Surgery

We’re exclusively representing a leading UK provider of private vision correction, currently expanding due to sustained patient demand.

This is a high-quality, surgery-focused opportunity within a well-established clinical environment, offering access to advanced technology, strong clinical support, and a consistent flow of motivated private patients.

You’ll be working within a streamlined model designed to maximise surgical efficiency while maintaining excellent patient outcomes — with full support from experienced multidisciplinary teams.

🔬 The Opportunity

This role is centred around delivering premium refractive and cataract procedures in a modern, fully equipped setting.

You’ll have access to:

🧠 The Role

• Perform refractive lens exchange and cataract surgery
• Assess patients and determine appropriate vision correction pathways
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team
• Support post-operative care and ongoing patient outcomes
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance and documentation

👤 Requirements

• GMC registered
• On the Specialist Register in Ophthalmology
• Experience in cataract and/or refractive surgery preferred
• Comfortable working in a high-volume private setting
