Annual Wage Range: $44,579.20 - $61,296.40

Job Description

Warehouse Operators perform functions in the shipping, receiving, packaging, maintenance in a packaging facility. Including, but not limited to Forklift and narrow aisle lift operation, bulk operation, super sack operation, tank loading and yard organization.

Responsibilities

  • Packaging and repackaging operations involving supersacks, L-Packs, drums, totes, bins, and dry bulk trailers.
  • Forklift operations supporting site logistics and material handling activities.
  • Product picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and relocation activities.
  • Performance feedback provided continuously to ensure targets are being met.
  • Computer knowledge applied to basic operational tasks.
  • Feedback to Site Leadership provided openly and honestly to help set the direction of site activities and performance.
  • Identification and communication of improvement opportunities to support staff and site operations.
  • EHS incident reporting and documentation completed using the appropriate system.
  • Participation and leadership in daily safety and Tier meetings as assigned.
  • Participation in site EHS programs including job audit programs, 5S, and related initiatives.
  • Collaboration with the Lead Operator, Supervisor, and Manager on investigations and completion of findings by assigned deadlines.
  • Application of marks, GHS labeling, product labeling, and control of site information centers throughout the facility.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years operations experience including warehouse and distribution operations.
  • Must have forklift experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communications, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with all employees through active listening skills, open feedback, maintained confidentiality, respect, and trust.
  • Overtime and weekend work as needed.

Physical Requirements and Environment

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials
  • Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb stairs and ladders over 100 ft.
  • Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
