Job Description

Receives, processes, and distributes all incoming mail and freight goods from manufacturers, vendors, and carriers. Pulls items in warehouse as designated in order to fulfill orders/requests and safely delivers items to designated locations. Assists in proper storage of supplies, parts, seasonal items, etc., in warehouse and related spaces. Sorts and delivers all domestic, international, and interdepartmental mail and notices across the resort. Prepares mail items and packages for outgoing shipment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives product, picks orders, stocks product into primary and reserve bins, and delivers goods and supplies to their required location. Ensures accuracy of stock with invoice and packing list. Completes all required forms and paperwork. Ensures all outgoing freight is properly labeled and ready for pick up by freight carriers.
  • Receives and unloads incoming goods delivered to the receiving warehouse. Ensures the safekeeping of, and the quality standards of food, beverage, merchandise, and various other departmental items stored in the warehouse. Rotates stock following FIFO guidelines for FIFO-required items; checks for damaged and expired goods.
  • Receives, sorts and processes incoming deliveries of packages and mail. Forwards mail to new addresses. Delivers all mail and packages. Receives certified, registered, insured, and express mail. Tracks items in transit of delivery/shipment and traces lost packages as needed. Determines the most cost-effective way to ship and process outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintains equipment and work area in a neat, clean and orderly manner. Follows established safety practices for all equipment and work areas. Reports any unsafe conditions or equipment to the management team in a timely manner.
  • Maintains accurate documentation including but not limited to daily delivery and closing logs and reports. Participates in inventory audits and cycle counts by preparing the assigned areas and bins, counting stock and entering results.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Individual Contributor.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • A valid Texas Driver’s License is required.

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of warehouse/mail services experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
