Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Material Handling

  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments.
  • Put away stock into designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Perform stock replenishment and inventory transfers.
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with stock takes.
  • Report inventory discrepancies or damaged goods.

Warehouse Operations

  • Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (where licensed).
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization according to 5S standards.
  • Ensure products are appropriately labelled and handled.

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
  • Use required PPE at all times.
  • Report hazards, incidents, and near misses promptly.
  • Comply with GMP/GxP, quality, and company procedures where applicable.

Documentation & Systems

  • Complete receiving, shipping, and inventory records accurately.
  • Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation.

Essential

  • 1 or 2 years of warehouse or distribution center experience.
  • Ability to safely manually handle materials.
  • Basic computer skills and inventory system knowledge.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Desirable

  • Forklift Licence.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move materials within safe handling limits.
  • Ability to work in warehousing and distribution environments.
