Te Tūranga | About the role
Keen to repair, build and maintain structures across our city’s parks and reserves?
We are looking for a practical and experienced person to join our very busy team. This is a hands-on and physically demanding role.
Structures work is varied and can include: installing signage and bollards, building a large variety of fences, maintaining and refreshing sand ladders/ seating/ picnic tables, boxing and placing concrete, maintenance of playgrounds, removal of graffiti, painting and cushion-fill renewal among many other tasks. Often this is a reactive role so we need a person that can adapt to changes to the plan as they happen and understand the importance of keeping the community (our customers) happy.
