Te Tūranga | About the role
The City Operations Team performs an essential role in our city, keeping our green spaces well maintained and beautiful. Tauranga is a great place to live and play and our green spaces are core to the community's ability to enjoy everything the city has to offer.
We are currently on the lookout for a Revegetation Operator to join our Tauriko/Tauranga team. The successful applicant will work as part of our Restoration Team restoring sites to various different levels of vegetation spec. This can include full site clearing/restoration, controlling plant pests, chainsaw use, line trimmer use and chipper use, agrichemical applications.
This role in very hands on, you will be working in the natural environment which may include being near swamps/ waterways and on uneven ground/ slopes. To be successful in this role you’ll need to be physically fit and adaptable to working in all weather conditions.
