Job title: Operator Resin Injection and Sling

Contract length: 1 year
The Operator – Resin Injection and Sling is responsible for carrying out resin injection and lifting sling activities in underground mining operations, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures to support the mine's production targets.
Job responsibilities:
- Perform resin injection and sling operations, as well as other related underground mining tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
- Read and follow engineering drawings, sketches, and work plans related to resin injection and sling activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe underground working environment.
- Identify workplace hazards, implement appropriate controls, and escalate risks when necessary.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
- Participate in emergency response training and respond appropriately during emergency situations.
- Complete work-related documentation, including JHA, TRACK evaluations, and CRM checklists.
- Comply with the company's 7 Lifesaving Rules and all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
- Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Manage work time efficiently and proactively support supervisors with additional tasks when required.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education, vocational training, trade certificate, or equivalent qualification.
- Valid Class B driving license.
- At least 1 year of practical experience and on-the-job training in resin injection and sling operations within underground mining development.
- Experience operating underground mining equipment is an advantage.
- An M Class license to operate JCB equipment is desirable.
- Strong commitment to safety and the ability to promote HSE practices and resolve safety issues effectively within the team.
- Ability to work in an underground mining environment and follow operational procedures and safety standards.
