Position: Mechanical Assembly Operator (Aerospace and Defense) Company: Cyient DLM Limited Location: Shamshabad, Hyderabad Experience: 2-5 Years Qualification: Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Operator with 2-5 years of experience in precision mechanical assembly, preferably in Aerospace, Defense, or other high-precision manufacturing environments. The candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical components, sub-assemblies, and systems according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and stringent quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical assembly of aerospace, defense, or high-precision components, sub-assemblies, and systems. Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, jigs, and fixtures. Ensure proper fitment, alignment, and fastening as per engineering specifications. Interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documents. Verify torque requirements and assembly parameters during build processes. Conduct in-process inspections and verify assembly quality standards. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools. Support rework, troubleshooting, and corrective actions when required. Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and process requirements. Follow standard operating procedures and assembly documentation. Ensure adherence to Aerospace and Defense manufacturing standards and best practices.
