Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the safe, continuous, and optimal operation of the plant.
Perform routine operational duties, including monitoring and control from both the field and the SCADA control room.
Strictly adhere to all plant Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) and quality procedures.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all shift activities and plant data.
Actively collaborate with Operations and Maintenance teams on troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives.
This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining a clear reporting structure.
Functional / Operational tasks:
The responsibilities of this role encompass a wide range of operational, safety, and reporting duties:
Operational & Monitoring Duties:
Conduct routine plant walk-rounds to preemptively identify and address anomalies.
Perform routine monitoring of all static and rotary equipment.
Execute assigned tasks efficiently based on plant process requirements and provide periodic status updates.
Operate and monitor plant functions using the SCADA system from the control room.
Assist the Operations team (OPS) with investigating and troubleshooting process disturbances and equipment malfunctions, promptly notifying the responsible department for necessary action.
Maintain appropriate housekeeping for plant facilities in collaboration with other departments.
Reporting & Documentation:
Report shift operational activities to the Senior Shift Charge Engineer.
Clearly and with organized manner document shift activities in the reports.
Ensure a distinct communication of shift activities to the shift reliever for seamless follow-up.
Maintain a daily activity log, including field isolation records, field instrument values, and motor/pump data.
Regularly review process data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and propose solutions for efficiency and performance improvements.
Safety, Health, and Environment (EHS):
Handling of hazardous chemicals.
Confined space activities.
Chemical spill control.
Lock-Out, Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
Evacuation and emergency procedures.
Ensure compliance with EHS and Quality processes and procedures.
Check job sites for potential hazards and report any deviations from company policies.
Process Improvement & Teamwork:
Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, and streamline work processes.
Work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality service.
Participate in plant improvement initiatives as requested by the Operations team (OPS).
Work Structure:
Possess the ability to work independently most of the time while maintaining a reporting structure to supervisors.
The following degrees are sought:
Level of study: Bachelor's, Master's, Engineering Degree.
Areas of specialization: Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Water Chemistry, Process Engineering.
Professional Experience:
Fresh graduate

Language Proficiency (level):
French: Fluent (read, written, spoken) – essential for understanding instructions, writing reports, and team communication.
IT Knowledge:
Proficiency in basic IT tools (office suite, google space).
Ability to use software for data entry and intervention tracking
