Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and operate CTL machine, shear, and related equipment
  • Review work orders to determine material size, thickness, and requirements
  • Load, position, and move materials using crane or forklift.
  • Measure and inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance, minor repairs, troubleshooting, and equipment cleaning as required.
  • Track and record production data, material usage, downtime logs and quality checks accurately.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and material handling
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2+ years of machine operation or manufacturing experience required.
  • CTL or metal processing experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read a tape measure (to 1/32”) and use measuring tools.
  • Detail-oriented, ability to follow procedures and complete paperwork as required.
  • Good math skills with proficiency in precision measurements.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to read work orders and follow instructions.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Self-motivated, ability to perform work task independently.
  • Excellent attendance, on-time, and dependable.

EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Experience operating CTL machines or similar equipment preferred.
  • Experience operating material handling equipment including forklift, crane a plus – Must pass evaluation before working independently.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to bend, stoop, push, and perform physical tasks.
  • Lift 50 lbs (22.7kg) maximum occasionally with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs (11.3kg).
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and move throughout the shift.
