The Gund Company has an immediate opening for a full-time Press Brake Operator (Utility Operator II) to join our team!

Shift: 2nd

Hourly Wage: $26 - $29 Based on Experience

Shift Premium: 15%

Press Brake Operator (Utility Operator II)

As a Press Brake Operator (Utility Operator II), you will play a key role in supporting production operations, ensuring that parts are fabricated to meet work order specifications and customer requirements. This includes operating and setting up the Cincinnati Press Brake and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Press Brake Operator (Utility Operator II)

  • Ability to set up and operate Cincinnati Press Brake
  • Inspect products to ensure they meet company quality, quantity, and customer standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following all safety protocols.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on press brake as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.

Requirements

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and relatable experience to TGC’s manufacturing machinery and processes.
  • Experience with (insert the department and/or type(s) of machines) or similar equipment.
  • Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of GD&T

Work Environment Press Brake Operator (Utility Operator II)

  • This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
  • The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
