Job Description

The Operator I will support field operations on a drilling project by assisting with daily activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drilling operations, including equipment setup, monitoring, and basic maintenance• Support rig crew and field personnel with day-to-day operational tasks• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements• Participate in daily safety meetings and toolbox talks• Help monitor drilling parameters and report any irregularities to supervisors• Perform general labor duties such as site preparation, housekeeping, and material handling• Assist with loading/unloading equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work site• Learn to operate basic tools and equipment used in drilling operations• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0–2 years of oil & gas or related field experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting, bending, standing for long periods)
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus
  • Must meet conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
