TKO StaffPros is seeking a dependable and safety‑focused Machine Operator to support daily production operations in our Selmer, TN facility. This role is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining steel‑processing equipment to ensure accurate, efficient, and high‑quality output. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or manufacturing environments and is comfortable operating both automated and manual machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate steel‑processing machinery such as angle lines, drill lines, robotic equipment, saws, and plasma cutting systems.
- Load, position, and secure raw materials according to production specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make routine adjustments to maintain accuracy and quality.
- Perform basic troubleshooting, minor repairs, and equipment changeovers as needed.
- Inspect finished parts for defects, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company safety policies.
- Follow production orders, blueprints, and work instructions with precision.
- Document production counts, machine settings, and any maintenance performed.
- Communicate equipment issues or production delays to supervisors promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–3 years of machine‑operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, measurements, and production documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
- Ability to lift 25–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety, accuracy, and consistent production output.
- Reliable attendance and strong teamwork skills.
