Job Description

This role is part of the Special Production Team at Calderys and involves hands-on manufacturing work such as shaping bricks, operating vibro-press machines, handling raw materials, and using hand and measuring tools. The operator ensures smooth production flow, maintains product quality, and follows strict health, safety, and quality standards in a physically demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Working in accordance with instructions provided during the production process
• Contributing to the continuity of order, workflow, and operational efficiency in the production area
• Using production equipment correctly and safely
• Performing stacking and transportation of products in compliance with procedures
• Supporting product quality control processes and reporting non-conforming products to the relevant department
• Ensuring full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Supporting process improvement and efficiency studies
• Manual shaping of bricks
• Weighing and pouring raw material mixture into molds
• Operating vibro-press machines
• Removing molds and extracting bricks from them
• Using hand tools such as Allen keys
• Using measuring tools such as calipers (vernier caliper)

• Able to adapt to shift work schedules
• Strong team player
• High sense of responsibility
• Committed to occupational health and safety rules
• Willing to work in a production environment

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Physical Activity: Requires more than 2/3 of time reaching climbing/balancing; 2/3 of time standing, kneeling, crawling speaking/hearing; and less than 1/3 of time sitting,
• Lifting: Requires lifting to 100 pounds less than 1/3 of time.
• Vision: Requires accurate close and distance vision, color vision, and the ability to focus.
• Environment: Requires 2/3 or more of time working near moving mechanical parts and less than 1/3 working in high, precarious places, exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, and/or in extreme heat.
• Noise: Requires exposure to very loud noise
