ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking a Operator, Fire Vehicle in support of our Vance AFB Base Operations Support Contract Located in Enid, Oklahoma.
Able to maintain a state issued driver’s license. Required to train and receive certification for all the assigned fire apparatus located at Vance AFB and Kegelmen Airfield. Timeframe for certification will be determined by the Fire Chief. Must be certified as a Fire Officer I to drive and/or operate the P-18 and P-26. May be temporarily assigned as Lead Firefighter if properly trained and certified. Assist in training and directing personnel in the knowledge and skills necessary to qualify for future vacancies. Maintain all fire suppression, rescue and EMS related skills required of a firefighter and may perform those related skill/task when directed. With the assistance of the maintenance shop, conduct fire pump service test on all assigned vehicles. When properly trained, must be able to pump from various water sources, produce a master stream, complete a resupply operation and support a sprinkler system. Inspect apparatus to ensure the vehicle is in proper working order. Complete inventory checks to validate assigned tools and equipment are present and in good working order. In the absence of the assigned ECC Operator, position may be required to fill-in to ensure compliance with PWS mandate. Driver/Operator will report directly to the assigned vehicle Lead Firefighter.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Firefighter I and II are mandatory prior to employment and must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board).
• Driver Operator Pumper is mandatory prior to employment and must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Driver Operator Mobile Water Supply (MWS) is mandatory prior to employment and must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Hazardous Materials Operations with Mission Specific Competency (MSC), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and Product Control (PC) is mandatory prior to employment and must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements

Mandatory Requirements within 12 months of hire (if don't currently possess):
• Airport firefighter must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• Driver Operator Aircraft Rescue Firefighting (ARFF) must be accredited by the International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board)
• National Registry and Oklahoma state Emergency Medical Responder or National Registry and Oklahoma State Emergency Medical Technician
