Position Summary:
The Commercial Commodity Swing Shift Operator helps operate areas within the elevator and outdoor slabs to assure compliance with established procedures relative to quality, productivity, and safety. Responsible for assuring that we maintain the highest level of customer service to our growers and commercial customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help setup and changeover of cleaning line equipment and verify all set up procedures have been followed.
- Analytic skills to evaluate material defects versus equipment malfunctions and make changes or adjustments accordingly.
- Input pertinent order data into SCADA and monitor SCADA operations for necessary adjustments.
- Load and Unload grain commodities by both rail and truck
- Weigh grain through SCADA system and input necessary order data into SCADA.
- Knowledge of AGC ERP system (NAV) a plus
- Clean and maintain work equipment, machinery and work stations.
- Identify any problems or improvements and report to CCO Lead.
- Inspect facilities daily to ensure equipment maintains proper condition of stored grains.
- Cross over to other areas as needed.
The CCO lead will serve as the CCO in the absence of the CCO.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma Minimum, GED or equivalent education level
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to analyze and make decisions
Skills and Competencies:
- Must have some mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Knowledge of lot numbering system a plus, but will train
- Ability to multi-task between assignments and prioritize workload
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Capable to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be detail oriented and maintain a clean/organized production area at all times
- Must be a team player and self-motivated
- Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day including bending, reaching, climbing, etc.
- Must be able to work well with other departments
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
