Job Description

Safety-Kleen Buffalo, New York is seeking an Operator to join our safety conscious team! This team member will be responsible for performing production activities such as operating process equipment, dehydration system, emulsification system, etc., in an efficient manner. MUST HAVE and maintain a City of Buffalo First- Class Stationary Engineer License

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor process equipment such as dehydration, water treatment system, emulsification system, etc.
  • Monitor boiler and air compressor units
  • Transfer material throughout the plant
  • Operate a forklift safely
  • Maintain production records including tank inventory recordings and calculations
  • Handle inbound and outbound shipments
  • Handle loading, unloading, inspection, spotting and sampling inbound and outbound trucks.
  • Check, approve and complete inbound and outbound paperwork
  • Maintain housekeeping standards
  • Help direct the activities of the Material Handler on shift
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

What does it take to work for Safety-Kleen?

  • Trained, experienced and knowledgeable in Special Operations
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • MUST HAVE and maintain a First-Class Stationary Engineers License
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Frequent standing
  • Working in all weather conditions
