Wage: $24.43/hr
Machine set up and operation in accordance with specifications and safety regulations.
JOB DUTIES:
Machine set up and take down which includes: threading of machines, making any adjustments needed and bagging up the equipment at the end of the night.
Keeping rolls of plastic ready to go to avoid production delays causing line down time.
Know where rolls of plastic are kept, and the different programs used for running our various products.
Will help assist the line in any way, shape or form: i.e., boxing keels, helping repack boxes, helping stack skids when transporter is gone to freezer and helping pack when packers fall behind.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment following SQF and all Safety guidelines.
Help in other areas when not needed in posted position, punching in on SAP for what job is being performed.
Able to tolerate wide variations in environment (temperature, humidity, flour, etc.)
Some duties will differ from line to line. Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS: High noise, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment and dust may be present. Wear appropriate PPE and other equipment as necessary or required.
QUALIFICATIONS: Display positive attitude and teamwork skills. Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day. Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist. Must pass the company physical classification test for essential functions of the position.
