
Operative
We are looking for a reliable, safety-conscious Operative to join our team at our PAR EMC facility in Cornwall. This is a hands-on role within a busy industrial environment, where safety, quality, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating production and dispatch processes in line with documented procedures, quality standards, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies. The role plays a vital part in ensuring maximum production throughout while maintaining product quality and meeting customer requirements.
In addition to supporting production operations, product preparation, and customer dispatch activities, you will also assist with day-work maintenance tasks as required.
What You'll Be Doing
Operate industrial machinery, including cell mills, carousel packing lines and FIBC stations.
Ensure all production and dispatch activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
Support the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of products to customers.
Maintain high standards of quality, housekeeping, and health and safety compliance.
Assist with routine maintenance activities as required.
Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve operational targets
Training will be provided to achieve competency in the following key processes:
Bagging Process
Lorry Loading (Customer Deliveries)
Goods Inwards Bulk Handling
Imercare Cell Bagging
What We're Looking For
A strong commitment to health and safety in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Willingness to learn new processes and undertake training.
Training will be provided on forklift and front end loading shovel.
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, logistics, or heavy industry would be advantageous, but is not essential.
