At Imerys, we're looking for an Operative to join our team at a Refinery in Cornwall. This is a unique permanent job-share opportunity where you'll work a full shift pattern for one month, followed by four weeks off.

What You'll Be Doing
Working within our refining operation, you'll be responsible for:
Monitoring and controlling the refining process
Operating processing equipment across the site
Carrying out routine plant inspections
Supporting product quality and production targets
Following all health, safety and environmental procedures
Maintaining high housekeeping standards
This role combines both control room monitoring and practical operational activities across the refinery.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Legally allowed to drive a car in the UK
Can work independently and use their initiative
Is safety focused
Has good IT, literacy and numeracy skills
Is physically able to walk around site and climb stairs regularly
Has experience within manufacturing, production, processing, industrial or operational environments (preferred)
Mobile plant experience would be advantageous, but full training can be provided.
The Shift Pattern
You'll work a rotating days and nights pattern for one month:
6am - 6pm Days - 2 weeks
6pm - 6am Nights 2 weeks
Followed by:
Four weeks off
