Contract type: Local employment contract within an international group entity or freelance contract, depending on profile
Working arrangements:
Full remote during the preparation phase with missions in Cergy (France) and abroad at contract start for spot missions overseas
Expected final project outcome:
Deployment of a fully operational training framework ensuring:
Competent and certified operations workforce
Safe and efficient plant operations
Full readiness for commissioning and start-up
Sustainable operational performance and continuous improvement
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
Training certifications (CTP or equivalent) are a plus
7–10 years of relevant experience
Experience in oil & gas / petrochemical / industrial operations
Experience in commissioning/start-up environments is a strong advantage
Fluent English mandatory
Turkish is a strong advantage
Strong ability to work cross-functionally
Minimum 7 years’ experience in operations training or plant operations
Strong expertise in: Process operations and unit operations, PDH and PP processes (or similar petrochemical units)
Solid knowledge of: Process control systems (DCS, PLC), Process safety and industrial standards (PSM, OSHA, API)
Experience in: Training program design and delivery, Competency assessment and operational readiness
Familiarity with: Simulation tools and LMS systems
Experience in: Commissioning, start-up, or operations phases, Large-scale industrial or petrochemical projects
Strong communication and pedagogical skills
Ability to translate complex process concepts into practical training
Strong coordination and stakeholder management
Ability to work in high-pressure environments (start-up phase)
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Adaptability and reactivity in dynamic project environments
Strong safety and operational excellence mindset
