Fresh, artisanal, delicious! The Gelatissimo story began in 2002 where our first store opened in the heart of Sydney. Churning gelato in store, using secret traditional Calabrian family recipes, word of mouth spread and before long, there were queues out the door and new store openings followed.
In our 24th year in business, we operate both nationally and internationally with ambitious growth plans for many more locations across the globe. We know we don’t just work in the gelato industry; we are the Gelato industry!

About the Role
Gelatissimo continues to experience significant growth, with new stores opening across Australia and internationally. To support this expansion, we are looking for an experienced Field Training Specialist to join our Operations team support in delivering successful new store launches across our network. This position will start as a 12 month contract with a view to go permanent.
This is a hands-on role, focused on coaching and developing new franchise partners and store teams. You will play a key role from day one with New Store Training Programs, preopening preparation, launch execution, and early trading support, ensuring every new store opens with confidence and delivers a consistently exceptional Gelatissimo guest experience.
The position requires some travel and is well suited to someone who thrives in the fast pace of new store openings, while also valuing time at our Rydalmere Head Office contributing to the development and refinement of training materials.

You are a people focused trainer with strong hospitality operations experience. You enjoy being in stores, working closely with teams, and supporting new franchise partners to succeed from their very first day.
You are adaptable, organised, confident working across multiple sites, and comfortable with regular travel.
