The role of an Operations Test Assurance Engineer, will include technical diagnostic support, documenting diagnostic investigation details whilst driving investigations to a successful conclusion in a timely manner. The role will also have a requirement to be the conduit for technical interfacing between the operations and engineering functions on new product introduction and mature product continuous improvements.
What you will be doing:
Fault finding electronic control products (to component level) through to root cause solution to ensure the failure mode is not repeated.
Technical responsibility for assigned work packages to assure the electronic design meets its performance requirements through analysis and test, satisfying the appropriate airworthiness requirements.
Complete detailed investigation documentation in accordance with Test Assurance guidelines and company procedures.
Position Qualifications:
Minimum HND qualified or equivalent experience in electronic engineering, electronic manufacturing assembly & test.
Preferred Requirements:
Must possess the necessary enthusiasm, drive and commitment to achieve results.
High degree of self-management and self-motivation with ability to work on own initiative.
Pay close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness.
Technical knowledge of both analogue and digital circuits.
Experience of diagnosing electronic products in harsh environmental conditions.
Knowledge of ATE equipment is an advantage.
