About this Role


We are seeking an Operations Technician – First Line Support to deliver first-line technical services for live information systems supporting Vodafone operating companies and joint ventures. This role focuses on maintaining the stability and performance of fixed and mobile telecommunications networks across access, transport, and core domains, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to meet agreed service levels and project objectives.

What you will do

  • Provide first-line technical support for live telecommunications information systems.
  • Monitor and maintain fixed and mobile network technologies across access, transport, and core domains.
  • Perform analytical troubleshooting activities to ensure network availability and performance.
  • Identify, analyse, and escalate software and hardware issues in line with operational processes.
  • Document network incidents clearly and accurately within designated systems.
  • Collaborate with internal Vodafone teams and maintain effective communication with suppliers.
  • Support operational and project-related activities in line with agreed timelines and performance indicators.

Who you are

  • An individual with the ability to understand technical concepts and apply analytical thinking to operational challenges.
  • Familiar with architectures and protocols used in access, core, and transmission areas of fixed and mobile networks.
  • Comfortable working with virtual, international project teams and engaging with stakeholders across different countries.
  • Confident communicating in both English and Romanian.
  • Ideally experienced with network equipment technologies and operating systems used within access, core, and transport environments.
