Job Description

Role Purpose

Responsible for end-to-end fund accounting activities including NAV calculation, fund valuation, financial reporting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance for domestic mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, or other investment vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and review daily/monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of investment transactions, corporate actions, income accruals, expenses, and fund expenses.
  • Review fund valuations and ensure adherence to regulatory and accounting guidelines.
  • Conduct cash, custody, and portfolio reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and regulatory disclosures.
  • Liaise with custodians, trustees, auditors, fund managers, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and resolve NAV breaks, reconciliation exceptions, and operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with SEBI, AMFI, and internal control requirements.
  • Support audits, fund launches, process improvements, and automation initiatives.
  • Mentor junior team members and drive operational excellence.

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
  • 3–8 years of experience in Fund Accounting, Mutual Fund Operations, PMS, AIF, or Investment Operations.
  • Strong understanding of Domestic NAV Calculation and investment accounting.
  • Knowledge of securities such as Equity, Debt, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, and Money Market instruments.
  • Experience with reconciliation, fund valuation, and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and team handling skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to Mutual Funds, PMS, AIF, Asset Management Companies, Fund Administrators, Custodians, or Financial Services organizations.
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting and audit requirements.
